I’M THE COWGIRL BEHIND THE CAMERA

My name is Emma, and I am the girl behind “Golden Cowgirl Photography.” I have always had a strong passion for photography, I started out taking pictures off my friends and random things on my cell phone. Now, I have a camera, and I’m living out my photography dreams! I hope I will get the pleasure of working with you!

A little bit more about me… When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me working, shopping, hanging out with friends & family, hiking, or doing anything outside! I am also currently planning on going to school for Agriculture Animal Science, working on a farm full time has made me fall more in love with agriculture. I love baking and trying new things, don’t be surprised if I offer you my latest baked good ;)

Where did “Golden Cowgirl” come from?

How did I get the name “Golden Cowgirl Photography?” Well, I’ve always been a western lifestyle-loving girly. I grew up in a pretty rural area, so it’s just apart of my roots! When I wanted to start up my photography page, I knew I wanted it to be mostly western-themed. My presets are mostly warm, vintage, and give you that “western feel.” As I was brainstorming names, I knew I wanted “cowgirl” in the name. I decided to add “golden” in front of “cowgirl” to see what it would look and sound like. I added “golden” since I knew I wanted my editing and presets to be warm (this is kind of ironic because I am NOT a gold girly by any means). There I was with the name, “Golden Cowgirl Photography,” and it had a beautiful ring to it.
